VHC – Institute of Allied Health Sciences successfully conducted its Orientation Programme 2026 for students enrolled in several healthcare training programmes. The programme marked an important beginning for students as they commenced their academic and practical training journey in the healthcare sector.
The orientation programme was conducted for the following batches:
Certificate in Nurse Assistant – NVQ 4 --- Batch 03
Certificate in Care Giver – NVQ 4 --- Batch 02
Certificate in Phlebotomy – Batch 01
Certificate in Phlebotomy – Batch 02
The programme was designed to provide students with a clear understanding of their respective courses, academic requirements, practical training, professional responsibilities, and the standards expected of healthcare professionals.
During the programme, students were introduced to the institute’s academic procedures, attendance requirements, discipline, professional conduct, practical training, clinical exposure, assessment methods, and learning facilities. The importance of maintaining professionalism, responsibility, teamwork, communication, and patient-centred care was also highlighted.
The orientation programme created a positive and engaging environment for students to begin their studies with confidence and a clear understanding of their responsibilities. It also provided an opportunity for students to become familiar with the institute, instructors, academic expectations, and their future career pathways in the healthcare field.
